my little shower invitation, got a little twist recently.  i had a custom request for the invitation to be all pink with really cute wording to go with the imagery.  little registry inserts were added to the invitation along with matching thank you notes.

it's always fun creating custom onesies for my Etsy customers.  recently i had a custom request for twin onesies that i thought was such a clever and cute idea, i had to share.

well that is how i felt when my vendor was completely sold out of the boxes i use for my simplewear gift wrap. unfortunately, i haven't been able to find those boxes anywhere! in stores or online! so what happens now? well you roll with the punches and find a new box.

custom made to order

happy first day of september...

the days seem to go by faster and the months are starting to just roll into one another. this past month, my weekends were filled with a little R&R and filling etsy orders during the week. i had a few more custom made simplewear orders then the average, so i thought i'd share a few of the fun designs.

this "little bizzzy bee" design was inspired by a bee themed baby shower for the mother-to-be. now everyone can know who this little bizzzy bee belongs to.



it seems exciting enough when you are able to share a pregnancy with your best friend. imagine how much more exciting it is when you're both having little girls? it's a given that the 2 little girls will be BFF's as well. so this would make them BFF to the second degree!



my little cousin recently had a superhero themed party for his 5th birthday and i thought this shirt would be an absolutely perfect gift and an awesome shirt for his first day of kindergarten.




when you've got a beautiful strong name like, zachary bruce morse, you almost have to let the whole world know and since little baby zach is too little to tell everyone himself, this little onesie will do the job for him.

here is another custom baby shower invitation i recently did. it's a slight twist to the shower flowers design i did back in march.



i decided to go with more primary colors to suit the style of the mama-to-be a little better.



i also incorporated her favorite bug, a ladybug, which fit real nicely with the wording on the invitation.



i'm really lovin' this cute new little ladybug so it may appear on other stationery goods and possibly on a simplewear onesie.  so be on the look out...

shower flowers

found something else to corner round today...

baby shower invites.  after 2 boys, cindy is finally getting her little girl.  so pink was the obvious choice of color on these invites.




a little hand cut flower embellishment gives this invite a bit of dimension and with the rounded corners it makes for a super cute and super girly baby shower invite.  email me if you're interested in this design for the next baby shower you are hosting.

simplewear's #1 fan

simplewear came to be, the day my nephew came to life.

the idea of decorating my sister's baby shower with a string of clothespin hung baby onesies just wasn't good enough for me.

as a graphic designer and owner of "in a card", i knew i wanted to make each onesie extra special and very personal for my nephew. so the idea of individually styling the onesie and customizing each one came to be.

with so many inquiries on the customized onesies from the baby shower, i knew i had to pursue this idea.

and so, simplewear was created.

almost 4 years later, my sister FINALLY comes around to sharing pictures of my nephew wearing his first simplewear onesie. i guess, better late then never, right? lol...

on the more simpler side, an A2 size flat invitation with the nursery's theme as inspiration.

a pocket full of love

a lot of things can be tucked away inside a pocket. especially a fun little surprise!

i thought this was a fun theme to base my sister's baby shower on. i sent out these pocket inspired invitations which had the shower information slipped inside the die-cut shaped pocket, with an actual button embellishing each invite.





my mom used my invitation as inspiration for the baby shower cake. a cute decorated teddy bear tucked inside the big pocket was a really sweet surprise to me.
