most adorable alice in wonderland themed store window display i've ever seen!

there's a little something for everyone here.

dessert anyone?  gourmet desserts and cakes provided by the kitchen window.

these gorgous gals are karen soto (right), the vision and owner of 34.fourteen and her oldest daughter, taylor (left).

and over in this corner we have... simplewear, making it's first store debut!  i love that my product is surrounded by the adorable stuffed animals of JanieXY.  and of course, don't forget the in a card note cards packaged and sitting pretty, peaking at the right corner.  :)

here's a pic of the hat i decorated and wore to the party.  i think someone else needs to have an alice in wonderland themed hat party so i can wear this creation one more time.

a special thanks to those of you that came out to the grand opening and showed your love and support for in a card/simplewear!!!

a note-able gift idea

i've gotten several etsy orders from brides-to-be for my monogram note card designs. what a great and personal gift idea for bridesmaids!

here is a recent order i just did and actually remembered to take a quick pic of before mailing off.

this etsy customer went with the "art deco-rative" design, which is one of my favorites, for all seven of her bridesmaids.

if you are interested in seeing some of my other designs or would like to purchase these note cards for your bridesmaids, please visit inacard.etsy.com or email me at info@inacard.com

and remember...
we at "in a card" are passionate about written correspondences. what better way to show someone how much you care then taking the time to write them a note. whether it's a simple thank you or a long over due how's it going, we hope our designs will motivate you to pick up that pen and send a little love...

shower flowers

found something else to corner round today...

baby shower invites.  after 2 boys, cindy is finally getting her little girl.  so pink was the obvious choice of color on these invites.

a little hand cut flower embellishment gives this invite a bit of dimension and with the rounded corners it makes for a super cute and super girly baby shower invite.  email me if you're interested in this design for the next baby shower you are hosting.

corner rounding fun

after test driving blushing pearl's corner rounder last month, i was on mission to get my very own corner rounder cutter. i even had mind's eye design studio look for me every day on ebay to see if we can get a deal on one. but of course, there was always someone else coming in 30 seconds before the end to out bid us. so i finally gave up and decided to just buy a brand new one.

i was so excited when the cutter came last week and it has been tempting me all week to start corner rounding. but with project deadlines to meet, it wasn't until yesterday that i finally got to start playing with it. and now i'm having a hard time NOT corner rounding everything!!! hehehe...

mind's eye design studio just recently re-designed and printed their business card with the intent of rounding the corners.  here's a few i got to experiment with.  i have to say, rounded corners or not, the new business cards are looking great!!!  but the rounded corners do give it that extra little something, don't you think?

now, what else can i corner round here...

a basket full of cuteness

i recently had the pleasure of creating these birth announcements for a client that fell in love with the sukharev twin's announcements i did a few months back.  robin wanted a similar size and feel for the announcement of her new baby.

meet baby landon...

these basket shots are pretty freakin' cute, huh?!?!

once again, all of these precious photographs of baby landon were taken by j luna photography.  for more info, visit her website at jlunaphotography.zenfolio.com.
